WordPress Backend Developer

We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

Responsibilities

1) Designing and building the website front-end

2) Creating the website architecture

3) Monitoring the performance of the live website

4) Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration

5) Proficient in Theme Customization

6) Proficient Using a Wide Range of WordPress Plugins and 3rd-party Integrations

7) Knowledge of APIs, Authentication, and integrating with 3rd party services

8) Experience creating sitemaps, mock ups, prototypes and wireframes with visual layout tools

9) Keen eye for design and attention to detail with experience designing websites and / or designing for other digital mediums

10) Conducting website performance tests

11) Troubleshooting content issues

12) Maintenance of existing sites. This may include creating new display templates, developing new features, or fixing bugs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 4 to 6 years experience as a WordPress developer
• Experience developing responsive websites
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
