Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Costing Specialist with a strong accounting background to join our finance and ERP team.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Oracle Cost Management (Costing) module and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Cost Management (Costing) module.
- Collaborate with finance and ERP teams to implement and support costing solutions.
- Configure and maintain costing setups, including cost books, cost elements, and cost methods.
- Analyze cost data to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including cost roll-ups and reconciliations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve costing-related issues in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and finance teams to align costing processes.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve costing processes and system performance through best practices.
Key Qualifications :
