ROLE OVERVIEW

The UKG Functional Consultant will partner with business stakeholders to design, configure, and support UKG modules across HR, Payroll, WFM, HRSD, and Talent. Depending on level, responsibilities range from executing hands-on configuration and support to leading strategic solution design and providing thought leadership across functional domains.

Functional Areas of Focus

Core HR & Payroll : Payroll, Benefits Administration, Core HR

Workforce Management (WFM) : Accruals, Timekeeping, Basic Scheduling, Workforce Analytics, Attendance, Activities, Time Capture Devices (Clocks)

HR Service Delivery (HRSD) : Document Manager, Case & Knowledge Management, Social Collaboration (Talk)

Advanced Workforce / HCM : Advanced Scheduling, People Analytics, Enterprise Data Hub

Talent Management : Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance & Succession, Coaching & Development, Learning

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, configure UKG modules, and deliver tailored solutions.

Provide expertise in one or more functional domains (HR, Payroll, WFM, HRSD, Talent).

Support testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of UKG modules.

Create documentation, training, and knowledge resources to drive user adoption.

Ensure compliance with HR, payroll, and labor regulations in solution design

WHAT YOU BRING

Technical & Functional Skills

Hands-on experience with UKG modules (Payroll, WFM, HRSD, Talent).

Strong understanding of HR and workforce processes.

Ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.

Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (payroll, labor law, data privacy).

Soft Skills

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and business teams.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
