The Head – Adani Power Training & Research Institute leads the strategic, operational, and academic direction of the organisation’s technical / behavioural capability-building arm. The role is responsible for designing and executing technical / behavioural capability building programs aligned to business strategy—covering generation, operations & maintenance, transmission, distribution, and emerging digital technologies in the energy sector.
The incumbent acts as a strategic partner to business and leadership, ensuring the institute becomes a centre of excellence (CoE) for capability enhancement, talent pipeline creation, and productivity improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership -
Benchmark with leading industry academies (domestic as well International)
Curriculum & Program Development -
Integrate new-age learning methods — simulators, digital twins, AR / VR-based training, and online learning modules.
Governance & Quality Assurance -
Ensure compliance with statutory and industry accreditation bodies (e.g., NSDC, CEA, DGMS, etc.).
Stakeholder Collaboration -
Collaborate with Adani Skill Academy
Infrastructure & Resource Management -
Drive digital transformation of the learning ecosystem (LMS, analytics dashboards, performance impact studies).
Capability Building Metrics -
Present quarterly reports to senior leadership on capability progress and future roadmap.
