Responsibilities :
Procurement Operations :
Manage end-to-end procurement of spare parts and bought-out items for wind turbine service operations.
Handle both domestic and international sourcing , including import documentation, customs clearance, and vendor coordination.
Vendor Management :
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for Gamesa WTG spare parts and services.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers across India to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and payment terms with vendors.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination :
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient distribution.
Monitor lead times, stock availability, and reorder points for critical components.
Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations (GST, import duties, etc.).
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
Work closely with service, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
Support technical evaluations and quality checks of incoming parts.
Requirements :
4–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the wind energy sector .
Familiarity with Gamesa WTG models , spare parts catalogs, and service requirements.
Strong knowledge of Pan India vendor landscape for wind turbine components.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
