Purpose of Role

To deliver engaging and effective social studies lessons aligned with the Cambridge and CBSE Curriculum for Grades 6 to 8 fostering students inquiry-based learning critical thinking and global awareness while ensuring alignment with Cambridge curriculum standards.

Teacher Social Studies - Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons .
• Prepare lesson plans teaching aids and assessments as per curriculum.
• Use interactive teaching methods including maps charts and experiential learning.
• Support students in developing analytical interpretive and geographical skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Support and mentor students with learning gaps or special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers coordinators and parents for integrated learning.
• Participate in training workshops and staff meetings for professional growth.
• Maintain student records discipline and adherence to school policies.
• Prepare students for internal assessments Checkpoint exams (if applicable) and school-based evaluations.
