Service Now Platform Developer

Job Title : Lead Software Developer (Service Now, Dev Ops)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Service Now, strong Java Script skills, and working knowledge of Dev Ops practices. You will lead software design initiatives, conduct peer reviews, mentor developers, and contribute to our AI integration efforts. This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design and development of scalable applications and Service Now solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and architectural decisions.
Guide and mentor development teams, fostering best practices in clean code, design patterns, and secure coding.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and consistency.
Drive Dev Ops practices such as CI / CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
Oversee integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems.
Ensure performance, security, and compliance standards are met.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to inform future development.
Experience with Seismic is must

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.

Proven experience with Service Now development (Workflows, Catalogs, Integration Hub, CMDB, etc.)., and Service Now App Engine

Strong knowledge of Java Script (ES6+) and Service Now scripting APIs.

Solid understanding of Dev Ops principles, including containerization (Docker), CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code.

Experience in software design, architecture, and leading development teams.

Familiarity with AI / ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Open AI, Azure Cognitive Services, etc.).

Expertise in various architectural models, including domain-driven design, microservices-architecture, event-driven-architecture, and micro-frontend-architecture.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

Service Now certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, etc.).

Experience with other modern web technologies (e.g., React, Node.js).

Familiarity with agile / scrum methodologies.
