Senior Manager / Manager & Actuary – RESERVING TEAM

Job Summary

This is an opportunity to be part of a well-established and growing team that supports the Reserving & Reserve Reviews Process .

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager with 10-12 years of experience in the P&C Insurance business and a Fellow Reserving Actuary . The ideal candidate is a self-learner and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with onshore actuaries throughout the reserving process , including data preparation , strategic analysis , and reconciliations .
• Analyze and document the reasons for changes in Actuals vs Expected by Region and Line of Business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Prepare Internal & External Audit reports and relevant Exhibits by sourcing, formatting, and aggregating data from multiple sources on a semi-annual basis.
• Validate Reserving Assumptions and selections in ResQ .
• Summarize final exhibits like Triangles , Ultimates , and Loss ratios for Re-Insurance treaty sign-off .
• Handle ad-hoc requests from onshore and perform work with minimal assistance.
• Guide and support junior team members by instructing them on processes and resolving their doubts.
• Actively participate in developing the team's training needs and foster a culture of learning.
• Manage and assist a team of analysts in performing the above tasks and manage stakeholder relationships .
