Role Overview
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee technical execution and compliance delivery of complex shipboard and regulatory projects. Your role will include survey coordination, project evaluation, regulatory alignment, and acting as a technical liaison between the client, laboratories, class societies, and flag states. You will ensure that services are executed in line with applicable IMO instruments, class rules, flag circulars, and international environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for IHM Survey & Maintenance (EU SRR, HKC), Ballast Water Testing (IMO, USCG), PFOS / PFAS & Foam Testing (MSC.1 / Circ.1312, MSC.107(73)), and USEPA / VGP Water Sampling.
- Prepare project-specific checklists, sampling plans, and compliance deliverables.
- Evaluate vessel-specific technical parameters and pre-assess compliance risks.
- Act as a technical interface with Class societies and Flag Administrations.
- Serve as the central point of contact for technical managers and fleet superintendents.
- Interpret and apply SOLAS, MARPOL, and Flag circulars across all service areas.
- Maintain ISO-compliant documentation and ensure audit-ready deliverables.
- Review test results, issue reports, and coordinate Class or Flag approvals.

Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Environmental Science, or similar.5+ years of experience in maritime inspections, technical management, Class or compliance projects.Technical Expertise :
Familiar with IMO instruments (SOLAS, MARPOL, HKC), EU SRR, VGP / VIDA, BWM Convention.Experience working with Class societies and Flag regulations for vessel certifications.Skilled in sampling protocols (e.g., ISO 5667, EPA 821-R), IHM software / tools, and report preparation.Performance KPIs
