Job description

D365 Techno Functional Consultant - F&O

Key Responsibilities

Analyze finance-related business processes to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and automation possibilities.
Align customer requirements with Dynamics D365 capabilities, leveraging out-of-the-box functionality or custom development where required.
Manage Dynamics AX / D365 installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance, including Enterprise Portal, Workflow, AIF, Management Reporter configuration.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical specifications and ensure compliance with Microsoft's release plans.
Support integration projects, testing (system and end-user), issue analysis, and resolution during project lifecycles.
Document processes, configurations, and technical specifications for long-term maintainability.
Work with 3rd-party solution providers / ISVs for extensions or integrations.
Monitor and maintain system health, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Stay updated on cloud computing concepts, Windows Server, and Active Directory to support infrastructure requirements.

Functional Skills

ERP Expertise : Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance (AP, AR, Balance Sheet, Cashflow).

Knowledge : Dynamics AX administration, configuration, and maintenance.

Database Skills : SQL Server (ability to write basic SQL queries).

Integration : Exposure to integration projects and understanding of .NET / MS SQL.

Collaboration Skills : Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

Teamwork : Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

B.Tech preferred with 60% D365 technical knowledge and 40% Finance domain working knowledge

4+ years of experience with D365

Specialization in one or more Finance modules
