About the Role

Role - Data Engineer - Quantexa ,Big Data Hadoop, Spark and Scala

Responsibilities

  • Develop Spark and SCALA code as per requirement.
  • Build efficient and optimized ETLs for data ingestion / transformations.
  • Should be able to customize and update the Quantexa UI as per business requirement.
  • Documentation of the developed code.
  • Code version management through GIT & JIRA.
  • Analyzing the business requirement.
  • Support production incident / issues / failures when required.

Qualifications

  • Desired Experience Range - 5-8 years

    • Required Skills

  • Experience in writing ETL scripts in Scala and Spark.
  • Hands-on experience in Quantexa.
  • Experience in HIVE and good knowledge of Big Data Hadoop.
  • Good understanding of git, jira for deployment management and communication skills to operate within the team.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge in Data Modelling, CI / CD processes, Docker, Elastic Search, Kubernetes.
