About the Role

FloTorch is seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a strong background in documenting complex AI / ML products, platforms, and solutions . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working closely with engineering, product management, and data science teams to create clear, concise, and user-focused documentation.

Job Location : Pune / Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality technical content, including user guides, API documentation, SDK references, release notes, tutorials, and whitepapers for AI / ML products.
  • Translate complex AI / ML workflows, algorithms, and data engineering concepts into simple, user-friendly documentation for developers, data scientists, and enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with product managers, AI / ML engineers, Data Scientists and Developers to gather insights and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Maintain a consistent content style guide and documentation standards across all deliverables.
  • Participate in UX design reviews, product demos, and sprint planning to proactively identify documentation needs.

Continuously update documentation in line with product releases and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–12 years of professional experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment.
  • Proven experience documenting AI / ML platforms, data pipelines, APIs, or cloud-based solutions .
  • Strong ability to explain complex AI / ML concepts (e.g., model training, deployment, MLOps, inference, data processing) to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, AsciiDoc, Confluence, Git, DITA / XML, or similar frameworks .
  • Hands-on experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger / OpenAPI, Postman).
  • Familiarity with programming / data technologies like Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or ML frameworks (reading / understanding code is a plus).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in an Agile / Scrum environment with distributed teams.

  • Exposure to AI / ML product lifecycles (model experimentation, deployment, monitoring).
  • Experience with knowledge management systems, chatbots, or AI-driven documentation assistants .
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools.
  • Contribution to open-source projects or developer communities .
