Job Summary :

An experienced QA Lead to join our dynamic software product development team. You will be responsible for leading the quality assurance function across manual testing, automation, and performance testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software products.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will not only manage a team but also contribute technically, working closely with DevOps and product teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of QA engineers (manual, automation, and performance testers).
  • Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes across the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and architects to ensure requirements are testable and quality

standards are met.

  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, backend).
  • Conduct manual exploratory, regression, and integration testing when necessary.
  • Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests to ensure system scalability.
  • Ensure the QA process integrates smoothly into a Kubernetes + Docker-based CI / CD pipeline.
  • Work with backend systems using Java and its frameworks, NoSQL databases (Couchbase or MongoDB), and Kafka

    • message brokers.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test coverage, automation, and tools.
  • Provide regular reporting on test progress, metrics, and risks to Skills & Experience :
  • 6-8 years of total QA experience, with at least 23 years in a lead or senior QA role.
  • Strong expertise in manual testing, automation testing, and performance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Test Complete, or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Deep understanding of Java and its frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, etc.) to design effective tests.
  • Experience testing backend systems integrated with NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures, including how to validate asynchronous flows.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Solid experience working in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially in complex distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management to Have :
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Familiarity with microservices and REST API testing best practices.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
  • Telco, Banking, Retail domain knowledge.
