We are a rapidly growing IT services and product engineering organization, delivering innovative digital solutions to global clients. To strengthen our marketing and thought-leadership initiatives, we are seeking a Freelance Video Editor with proven expertise in editing content for the IT and technology domain.

About CodeVyasa : CodeVyasa is a mid-sized product engineering company that works with top-tier product / solutions companies such as McKinsey, Walmart, RazorPay, Swiggy , and others. We are about 550+ people strong and we cater to Product & Data Engineering use-cases around Agentic AI, RPA, Full-stack and various other GenAI areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, and internal communications.
  • Add music, graphics, animations, subtitles, and effects to enhance video quality.
  • Collaborate with the creative / marketing team to understand requirements and deliver content within deadlines.
  • Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage and organize video assets and project files for easy access.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of sound design, color correction, and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media content creation (Instagram, YouTube, , etc.).
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with photography / videography is a plus.
