MERN Stack Developer - React.js / Node.js

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to support application functionalities.
• Ensure high-quality UI / UX by developing pixel-perfect front-end applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and mentor junior developers as required.
• Work in Agile / Scrum methodologies and participate in daily standups and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team for CI / CD pipelines and Skills :
• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Hands-on experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL (preferred).
• Familiarity with database design and optimization in MongoDB.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Experience with UI frameworks like Material-UI, Bootstrap, or similar.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and cloud services like AWS is a plus.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and working in team environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in integrating third-party services like payment gateways, analytics, etc.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of microservices architecture is an added advantage.
