Business & Team :

The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is responsible for driving an uplift in the Consumer Data and Analytics capabilities. The area comprises of several functions and to support the goals of Group priorities.

Impact & contribution :

As a Senior Analyst in Data Management Governance, you will manage coordination of data related projects, liaising with key stakeholders within CDO / BU / SU. You will facilitate execution of data related project progress against milestones with these key stakeholders and monitor and govern to ensure data management best practices are followed.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Providing support to data related project teams on the definition of business requirements, impact assessment, project plan definition.

Facilitating the relationship between business and technical teams to support accurate and appropriate data management decisions.

Contributing to the conversation of specific data management business needs into functional designs.

Guiding users on what data is available from where, using knowledge and also tools such as Alation.

Guiding users on process of registration of data elements (including CDEs) and related metadata, lineages and controls; and also streamlining processes to enable efficient self-service DMIM.

Essential Skills :

5+ years of experience.

Must have - Experience in assessing and implementing data quality controls and / or managing data risk, especially in highly regulated environments

Must have - Experience of creating and maintaining consulting for ETL pipelines for big data platforms in large scale organisations using SQL

Must have - Proven ability as data SME to embed data best practices, and uplifting analytics maturity in using data to drive safer, smarter and faster decisions.

Highly desirable - Experience with developing scalable Gen AI capabilities to accelerate data development, discovery or usage for a large number of analytical users

Highly desirable - Experience with development using Python, especially on cloud platforms such as AWS

Education Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering Or Master’s degree Or Ph.D. in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science.
