The Executive in the Office of Press and Media plays a pivotal role in shaping the public image and narrative of the University through strategic media communications. This role demands strong editorial judgment, media intelligence, and coordination skills to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful representation of the University’s initiatives across platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Media Relations and Outreach

• Build, nurture, and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and media houses across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
• Identify opportunities for proactive media outreach to highlight the University’s achievements, events, and thought leadership.
• Coordinate interviews, media bytes, and feature stories with university leadership and subject experts.
• Maintain a dynamic media contact database and track media coverage across regional and national outlets.
