Senior Backend Developer

to design and scale next-generation

Generative AI platforms

built on AWS. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong backend foundations and hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into production-ready cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Engineering & API Development

Develop scalable backend services in

Python , emphasizing performance, security, and reliability.

Build RESTful APIs and modular microservices powering real-time platform features.

Integrate with AWS services such as

Lambda ,

S3 ,

DynamoDB ,

API Gateway , and

OpenSearch

for GenAI-driven workflows.

Cloud-Native Architecture & AWS Engineering

Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions aligned with

AWS best practices .

Implement

serverless

and

event-driven

architectures for agility and cost optimization.

Ensure high availability, scalability, and maintainability across backend systems.

Agile Collaboration & Development Lifecycle

Work closely with product, DevOps, and data teams to convert business needs into robust backend solutions.

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and peer code reviews.

Contribute actively to iterative development cycles and continuous integration pipelines.

Performance Optimization & Innovation

Optimize backend systems for throughput, low latency, and reliability.

Stay updated on

Generative AI

advancements and propose impactful integrations.

Lead technical enhancements, system improvements, and performance refinement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

4+ years of overall experience

in backend development, primarily with

Python .

1–2 years of hands-on experience

with AI / GenAI platforms or AI-driven applications.

Strong expertise with

AWS services

(Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).

Strong grasp of

data structures ,

algorithms , and performance tuning.

Proficiency with Git workflows and

CI / CD pipelines .

Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have

Experience integrating LLMs or using GenAI frameworks.

Familiarity with serverless architecture and event-driven patterns.

Exposure to streaming pipelines, messaging queues, or distributed systems.

Bonus : Knowledge of frontend or full-stack development.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
