Senior Process Engineer

Position : Senior Process Engineer

Location : Mumbai, Maharashtra

About the Role :

Lead process design, simulation, optimization, and technology integration for hydrogen / ammonia plants.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process calculations.

Techno commercial evaluation of projects and licensors, technology providers and EPC Companies.

Plant and process equipment design, including applicable international standards.

Conduct feasibility studies, HAZOPs, and risk assessments.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Instrumentation, Environmental, EPC) for seamless project execution.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / master’s in chemical engineering or equivalent.

15+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in hydrogen, ammonia, or related process industries.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of process simulation tools.

Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
