Position – Associate / Sr Associate – Tax

Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced U.S. Tax Preparer to join our growing tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate preparation of business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.) in compliance with U.S. federal and state tax regulations. This role will work closely with Tax Managers and other team members to ensure timely and quality delivery of tax services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120S & 1065)
- Perform tax data entry using tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax, ProSystem fx, Drake, etc.)
- Organize and analyse client-provided tax documentation
- Apply proper tax treatment based on current IRS guidelines and client-specific situations
- Communicate with tax managers and reviewers to clarify issues and resolve discrepancies
- Review prior-year returns to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Maintain documentation and working papers in accordance with firm policies
- Meet internal deadlines and ensure all filings are accurate and timely
- Support tax planning and compliance efforts as needed
- Stay updated with IRS regulations and state tax law changes
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–3 years of experience preparing U.S. tax returnsStrong knowledge of U.S. tax concepts, rules, and forms (1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)Experience with U.S. tax preparation software (CCH, Quickbooks, Drake, UltraTax, etc.) preferredWorking knowledge of tax documents such as 5471s, and 8865s is a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environmentWork Schedule & Compensation :
