As part of our Content Localization & Accessibility team youll drive our mission to ensure every viewer regardless of language or ability can fully enjoy Prime Video from day one. With our ambitious goal of reaching 100 million new international customers your work will directly impact how millions of people around the world experience entertainment.

  • Supporting 32 UI languages across our vast catalog
  • Leading the industry in accessibility features including our innovative Dialogue Boost technology
  • Meeting and exceeding evolving global regulatory requirements for accessible content

The Opportunity

Youll be at the intersection of state-of-the-art technology and global entertainment working on :

  • Developing state-of-the-art GenAI solutions for automated content localization
  • Building intelligent supply-chain automation systems
  • Creating sophisticated workflow management tools
  • Optimizing human-in-the-loop processes for maximum efficiency and quality

    Key job responsibilities

    Technical Leadership

  • Drive technical vision and architecture for Prime Videos localization and accessibility platforms
  • Lead development of AI / ML-powered content processing systems at global scale
  • Make strategic build vs. buy decisions balancing cost scalability and maintenance
  • Design and implement robust monitoring and quality control systems

    • People Leadership

  • Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team
  • Drive hiring career development and foster an inclusive team culture
  • Manage team resources and delivery commitments
  • Champion Amazons Leadership Principles

    • Innovation & Execution

  • Oversee development of automated solutions for content localization and accessibility
  • Lead integration of GenAI technologies into production workflows
  • Partner with Product and Business teams to define and execute strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement in processing efficiency and quality
  • 7 years of engineering experience
  • 3 years of engineering team management experience
  • 8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software / hardware / networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
  • Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring / coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
