Health Insurance - Pre Underwriting

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health Insurance - Pre Underwriting position based in Bangalore.

The Pre Underwriter is responsible for evaluating initial insurance applications to determine risk and eligibility.

Daily tasks include reviewing and verifying information, assessing potential risk factors, communicating with clients and agents, and collaborating with the underwriting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of applications.

To contact the insured for Underwriting referred proposals to procure the complete medical history using Audio and / or Video tools.

To Follow up with customer for past medical records and / or relevant health documents

Maintain end to end TAT / SLAs.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and understanding of underwriting principles
• Experience in Insurance and Finance domains
• Candidate must know to speak excellent English and Hindi
• Attention to detail and ability to assess risks accurately
• Degree - B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PharmD, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing, BDS
