To ensure global compliance with dangerous goods transport by managing classification, packaging, and documentation per regulations, and supporting sites to achieve safe and efficient logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage global dangerous goods classification and labelling by IMDG, IATA, ADR, DOT, and UN TDG regulations.
- Maintain and update product safety data in the SAP database.
- Support production sites in selecting compliant packaging for international and national transport.
- Develop stakeholder and customer support networks, lead knowledge transfer and training initiatives.
- Establish and maintain standardized transport safety documentation (SOPs, process maps, guidelines).
- Provide timely regulatory updates to global project leaders and teams.
- Contribute to achieving global transport safety KPIs.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Requirements
Master's degree in chemistry or equivalent studies4+ years of experience in Dangerous Goods Management within Product Stewardship in a global or multinational company.Proficiency in SAP EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and WINS systems.Strong knowledge of IMDG, IATA-1, ADR, DOT, and UN TDG transport regulations.Ability to interpret safety test reports for chemical products (advantageous).Attention to detail and process compliance mindset.Analytical and problem-solving abilities for regulatory challenges.Our Offer
