Manager - Sales Development Summary :
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Manager (SDM) to lead our sales development team and drive pipeline growth. In this role, you will oversee the lead generation strategy, manage SDRs (Sales Development Representatives), and collaborate with marketing and account executives to ensure a smooth and effective customer acquisition process.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on execution skills in B2B or high-velocity sales Generation Strategy :
- Develop and implement scalable outbound and inbound lead generation strategies to drive qualified opportunities for the sales team.
- Set and track KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates, etc.) for SDR Leadership :
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of SDRs to meet and exceed pipeline targets.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and high performance through 1-on-1s, team meetings, and ongoing Collaboration :
- Work closely with marketing to align on campaign goals, lead scoring, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and account executives to ensure high-quality handoffs and alignment on ideal customer profiles & Reporting :
- Use CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft) to track performance and optimize workflows.
- Analyze conversion metrics to identify bottlenecks, test new messaging, and continuously improve outreach Growth :
- Drive top-of-funnel growth by targeting key accounts and expanding into new markets or verticals.
- Participate in strategy meetings to support territory planning, segmentation, and account Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors / master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven success in B2B sales environments, preferably in SaaS, tech, or enterprise solutions.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
- Data-driven with a passion for metrics, testing, and optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
