Senior Engineer Controls

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer Controls to take on the overall responsibility for developing and managing control software in an industrial environment. You will be responsible for designing and implementing controls for complex automation systems, programming PLCs and HMIs, and collaborating with end users throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires extensive experience with automation software, a systems-level approach to machine programming, and a strong ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Design and implement clean-sheet automation systems from concept through production.
• Translate customer requirements into design specifications, evaluate design feasibility, and provide technical expertise to meet customer requests.
• Design and develop electrical systems for custom automation solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems , and other control devices to ensure precise control.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems and provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Be responsible for full system programming, testing, debugging, commissioning, installation, and upgrades.
• Perform design reviews with internal and external customers.
• Create and review detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) for accuracy.
• Maintain project schedule milestones and achieve cost targets through effective design.
• Stay up-to-date with leading-edge technology and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage assigned projects and deliver to the agreed schedule and scope.
• Support FAT / SAT and start-up of integrated control systems.
