Mainframe Job Scheduler Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing job dependencies, conditions, and resources in a mainframe environment. This involves monitoring active jobs and resolving scheduling conflicts or job failures.

In addition, the successful candidate will implement New Day processing and automate job submission workflows, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with cross-functional teams to align job schedules with business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise :
• Familiarity with Control-M for z / OS and JCL programming.
• Strong understanding of z / OS batch processing and IOA (Integrated Operations Architecture).
• Experience with Control-M components such as CMEM, AutoEdit, and SMART Tables.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in job scheduling and workload automation on mainframe platforms.
