Job descriptionB.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 5–7 years’ experience in pharma / chemical plant design or EPC projects. Strong knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, piping & pressure vessel design. Experience in vendor coordination, procurement support, and documentation. Familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 / 210 / 211 requirements for regulated markets preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, mechanical design tools, and MS Office. About the Company
Bridge Business Support Services is leading the delivery of a cutting-edge, FDA-cGMP artemisinin manufacturing line -combining continuous photochemistry, crystallization, and solvent recovery at industrial scale.
Responsibilities :
- Perform equipment sizing and specification (reactors, crystallizers, heat exchangers, filters, dryers, tanks, etc.).
- Prepare mechanical datasheets and review vendor drawings for compliance.
- Support development of equipment layout drawings, tie-in points, and utility connections.
- Collaborate with process and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and support procurement in technical bid analysis.
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and assist during installation & commissioning phases.
- Ensure all mechanical designs and documents are aligned with cGMP, ASME, API, and US FDA requirements.
- Provide inputs for maintenance, safety, and reliability considerations in equipment design.
