Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Java !Ability to work individually or mentor and train a small group in a development and migration environment.•Communicate effectively with global customers and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.Responsibilities•Learning platform/applications (DDX) and start taking ownership within 3 months.•Start acting as SME for product line in 6 months.•Proactive monitoring of applications and taking corrective steps to prevent any failure.•Design, develop and build new features in the current application(s)•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.•Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.•Perform unit testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications.•Troubleshoot and debug issues arise during the development and testing phases.•Collaborate with team members to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.•Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure high availability and scalability.•Actively responding to stakeholders’ reported issues.•Understanding data and its functional importance in the product.•Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and provide recommendations for process improvements.•Preparing comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and unit testing documents. This documentation helps maintain applications and ensures smooth collaboration across teams.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsPosition: Tech Lead - Core Java (with strong SQL and Core Java skills)Qualifications: BE/B-Tech (computer science) / MCAImportant : We need candidates who have proven experience in developing and extending large Java Exterprise applications and should have worked in product companies for relevant time They should be completely hands-on when it comes to coding and will be expected to code 80% of their time.Preferred Qualifications/ SkillsStrong hands-on knowledge of Java, especially Core-Java, JSP, spring boot and hibernateProficient in developing large scale Java based enterprise applications.Strong hands-on knowledge of MS-SQL and Oracle.Should be Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedure, triggers, function, and database design.Should have very good knowledge about handling large amounts of data via web services / web applicationsShould have very good de-bugging skill. Especially debugging complex core-java applicationsStrong hands-on knowledge of Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP serverStrong hands-on knowledge of SOAP and REST APIKnowledge of Linux OS, distributed applications, micro services, and cloud applications will be good to have.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Git, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Familiarity with Dockers and Kubernetes.Familiarity with Bamboo, Jira and ConfluenceStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
