Senior Data engineer with strong expertise in SQL and a good understanding of data from an analytical perspective. The role requires proficiency in working with JSON structures and REST APIs, as well as the ability to interpret SaS application code from legacy systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to support data-driven initiatives across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimise, and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Work extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing.

Design, implement payloads / API calls, work with tools like Postman, Bruno etc, to consume REST APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between services / systems.

Analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Review and understand SaS legacy system code to ensure smooth integration and migration processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with organisational standards.

Qualifications

Required Skills :

Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.

Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation.

Hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integration, should be able to work with payloads etc.

Ability to read and understand SaS legacy code (expert-level knowledge not required).
