About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead our Beauty & Personal Care (BPC) category. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end category management, driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role requires strong expertise in BPC category handling, strategic decision-making, and a proven track record in scaling business in the e-commerce / FMCG domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the P&L for the BPC category and deliver on revenue and margin targets.
- Drive category growth strategy including brand partnerships, assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and new launches.
- Drive performance across D2C websites, marketplaces, and offline retail channels to ensure balanced business growth.
- Lead business planning, forecasting, and execution for BPC products across platforms.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key brands, vendors, and stakeholders to expand category depth and breadth.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor landscape, and consumer insights to shape category strategy.
- Manage inventory, supply chain coordination, and demand planning to ensure healthy stock levels.
- Collaborate cross - functionally with marketing, operations, product, and finance teams to achieve business objectives.
- Mentor and lead the category team to deliver high performance and ownership.
- Comfort with digital marketing levers, influencer campaigns, and pricing strategy in e-commerce.
- Leverage consumer insights to identify white spaces, drive NPD (new product development), and strengthen brand 5-12 years of proven experience in category management, business development, or related roles within the Beauty & Personal Care / FMCG / E-commerce sector.
- Strong understanding of BPC consumer behavior, product trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret business metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to scale and grow categories with successful revenue and margin outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
