Job descriptionIdentify, develop, and implement cost-saving initiatives across sourcing, warehousing, and logistics. Collaborate with operations to streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce inefficiencies through data analytics and technology. Monitor and optimize inventory levels, supplier / vendor payment terms, and credit cycles to maximize cash flow. Develop reliable cash flow forecasts and maintain disciplined financial management practices throughout the entire supply chain to ensure smooth liquidity and operational efficiency. Design and maintain dashboards for key supply chain KPIs (inventory turns, logistics costs, warehouse efficiency, etc.). Deliver accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations to leadership. Ensure compliance with financial policies, audits, and statutory regulations. Proactively identify financial risks related to supplier dependency, cost escalations, and credit exposure, and develop mitigation plans. Leverage SAP, financial modeling tools, and analytics platforms to enhance financial visibility and decision support. Partner closely with procurement, operations, and corporate teams to align financial goals with operational objectives. Build, mentor, and lead a finance team capable of scaling with Kare’s growth while promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability. Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance, or an equivalent finance qualification. 7+ years of finance experience. 3–5 years in supply chain finance roles is preferable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills with a hands-on approach. Proficiency in SAP or any ERP systems, financial analytics, and reporting tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive financial discipline in a growing, lean organization. Knowledge of risk management practices related to supply chain finance.
Role Overview :
The Supply Chain Finance Lead / Head will provide strategic financial leadership across procurement, warehouse, and logistics operations. Beyond traditional finance functions, this role is a hands-on business partner driving cost efficiency, optimizing working capital, enhancing financial controls, and enabling data-driven strategic decisions as Kare scales its supply chain capabilities.
