Step into the heart of Sharnita Nandwana Studio — where couture craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and intimate client relationships shape every interaction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in luxury environments, loves working closely with people, and takes joy in ensuring every client leaves feeling understood, cared for, and beautifully dressed.
As the first point of contact in our private showroom, you will play a key role in delivering the signature Sharnita Nandwana experience : warm, attentive, detail-led, and deeply personalised. You will work directly with Sharnita and the atelier, gaining hands-on exposure to the world of couture, fittings, and made-to-measure garment making.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Client Experience & Sales
Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, offering a personalised and thoughtful shopping experiencePresent the collection (on-rack and on-screen), explaining craftsmanship, fit, fabric, and design detailsAssist clients in choosing outfits and suggest customisations aligned with their style, requirements, and body typeConduct fittings with precision — taking measurements, noting alteration requirements, and coordinating adjustments with the atelierManage client communication across calls, messages, appointments, and follow-upsProcess orders accurately and ensure they move smoothly through the production cycleEnsure every client interaction reflects our brand values, attention to detail, and couture sensibilityShowroom Operations
Maintain a pristine, organised, and visually appealing showroom environmentOversee inventory checks, organisation, and daily showroom readinessPrepare garments for appointments, fittings, handovers, and special viewingsCoordinate closely with the atelier to track ongoing orders and monitor timelinesAssist with out-of-town exhibitions and events when requiredContent & Social Media Support
Support the creation of in-studio content — behind-the-scenes moments, product highlights, fittings (where appropriate)Assist with basic social media management : posting, scheduling, replying to inquiries, and maintaining consistencyHelp during photo / video shoots and brand content days(Photography skills not necessary; an eye for aesthetics is a bonus.)
WHO YOU ARE
1–2 years of experience in luxury sales, couture retail, or a premium multi-designer storePassionate about fashion, craftsmanship, and the world of bridal and occasionwearA genuine interest in current fashion and bridal trends, with the ability to turn them into thoughtful styling adviceWarm, well-presented, and confident in client-facing rolesExceptional communication skills and professional fluency in EnglishDriven, self-motivated, and proactive in managing your responsibilitiesConfident in advising high-end clientele and VIPs — able to guide clients thoughtfully, build trust, and close sales with easeHighly organised — tidy, meticulous, detail-obsessedCalm, solution-focused, and composed under pressureComfortable with measurements, fittings, and understanding of garment structure (training provided)Proficient in Excel; Photoshop is a bonusWilling to work Monday–Saturday, 9 : 30am–6 : 30pm with a 1-hour lunch breakWHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL
This is a boutique, hands-on, high-touch environment. You’re not just selling garments — you’re guiding clients through some of the most meaningful purchases of their lives. You will work closely with the designer, learn the nuances of couture, and contribute directly to the client journey and brand growth.
