Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the cloud collections team to design, develop, and deploy cloud data collection solutions.
  • Architect and implement scalable and secure data collection frameworks across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of cloud collection processes with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the integration of diverse data sources into centralized cloud data lakes or warehouses.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and compliance in cloud collections.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud data collection workflows.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends related to data collection and cloud architecture.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud data collection, cloud engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud storage solutions (S3, Azure Blob Storage, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Proficiency in data ingestion tools and frameworks (Apache NiFi, Kafka, AWS Glue, etc.).
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Experience leading and managing technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines is a plus.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ETL / ELT processes and tools.
  • Exposure to AI / ML data pipelines.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
