Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a robust background in technology. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience as a developer or QA and demonstrate a proven track record of managing teams and delivering technical projects. This role is critical in bridging technical expertise and project management to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning & Execution :
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Track and report project progress, proactively addressing potential risks and issues.
Technical Leadership :
Leverage experience in development or QA to provide guidance to the team.Conduct technical reviews and provide input to ensure the quality and feasibility of deliverables.Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical challenges.Team Management :
Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and clear communication.Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.Stakeholder Communication :
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.Process Optimization :
Implement and improve project management methodologies and best practices.Ensure adherence to quality assurance and software development standards.Continuously evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.Required Qualifications and Experience :
Technical Background :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Hands-on experience in development or QA for at least 3 years.Proficiency in at least one of the following : Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Java, or QA.Project Management Expertise :
At least 2 years of experience in a team management or project management role.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or MS Project.Minimum of 5 years in technology roles with a mix of technical and management experience.Desired Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic environments.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM) is a plus.(ref : hirist.tech)
