Role Description

Design spaces that honour the earth, uplift communities, and embody timeless wisdom. As a sustainable architect, you’ll lead projects rooted in ecological integrity, indigenous knowledge, and place-based design. Your work will harmonize built environments with natural landscapes, using locally available materials and regenerative practices.

What you’ll do

• Design architectural plans that integrate earth-building, passive cooling, and site-responsive techniques.
• Collaborate with communities to incorporate indigenous wisdom and cultural aesthetics into spatial design.
• Use natural, locally sourced materials to minimize environmental impact and celebrate regional identity.
• Conduct site studies to ensure designs align with terrain, climate, and ecological rhythms.
• Work closely with engineers, artisans, and field teams to ensure feasibility and fidelity to sustainable principles.
• Document and share learnings to build a knowledge base for future regenerative architecture projects.
