About the Role :

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a key role within the Technology for Business ( Tf B) team. This position involves partnering with development and technology leaders to translate requirements into automated testing frameworks, ensuring code quality across the delivery pipeline. The SDET is embedded in the full development lifecycle and leads the implementation of automation strategies, while supporting both functional and non-functional testing to maintain reliability and performance.

What You’ll Do :

Ensure requirements and user stories are testable; clarify ambiguities

Provide testing estimates and maintain test activities

Develop and maintain manual and automated test suites

Manage defects and coordinate with end-to-end testing teams

Use tools like Sonar Qube for code coverage analysis

Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Delivery pipeline

Design automation systems and tools for engineers

Contribute to unit, performance, scalability, and durability test case design

Provide and manage test data for all delivery phases

Stay up to date with testing best practices and tools

Coordinate with Dev and Ops to uphold testing standards

Participate in design and code reviews

What You’ll Bring :

2-5 years’ experience with at least 3 programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Java Script)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills

Understanding of Agile development lifecycle

Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Test NG, Appium, Sauce Labs, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor

Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and various test strategies

Experience with CA Service Virtualization or similar tools

Proficiency in issue tracking and agile project management platforms

Experience in CI / CT / CD and Dev Ops environments

Development experience on Unix / Windows or mobile platforms (Android / i OS)

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)

Must Have Skills :

Java Script, Type Script, Java, Python, Node.js, Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, API testing, UI testing, test automation frameworks, performance testing, cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
