Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer & Support Engineer with strong expertise in Python development, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure seamless application performance in production. Key Responsibilities

1. Development

Design, develop, and enhance applications using Python (3.x) .

Implement scalable, modular, and high-performance solutions.

Build and maintain REST APIs / Microservices using Flask, FastAPI, or Django.

Integrate backend services with databases, cloud services, and third-party APIs.

Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.

Provide production support for Python-based applications.

Troubleshoot issues related to code, performance, APIs, data, and infrastructure.

Perform deep-dive analysis of logs, error traces, and system behavior.

Work on incident, problem, and change management (ITIL processes).

Create root cause analysis (RCA) documents and implement permanent fixes.

Coordinate with DevOps, QA, Infrastructure, and Product teams to resolve issues.

Monitor systems using tools like Kibana, Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch , etc.

Application Support (L2 / L3)

Required Technical Skills

Python Development

Strong expertise in Python 3.x , OOP, and advanced concepts.

Experience with Flask / Django / FastAPI .

Hands-on experience with REST API development and integration.

Must have experience in writing unit tests (pytest / unittest).

Database

Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle) .

Experience with ORMs (SQLAlchemy / Django ORM).

Support & Monitoring

Experience in L2 / L3 support and production issue resolution.

Strong understanding of log analysis and error debugging.

Familiarity with monitoring tools :

Kibana / Grafana / Splunk / ELK / CloudWatch
