As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Markets Post Trade Technology Securities Processing Technology team you will lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. You will utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery. You will utilize your expertise in modern development tools and technologies, including IntelliJ, VSCode, Microsoft Co-Pilot, AI / ML, KAFKA, JAVA, Testing Automation, and more.

Job Responsibilities :

• Leads the software engineering team responsible for post trade securities processing technology.
• Oversees application development using IntelliJ, VSCode, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and other modern development tools.
• Implements AI / ML solutions to enhance processing efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilizes KAFKA for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Develops and maintains applications using JAVA, ensuring high performance and scalability. Drive testing automation using tools like Cucumber and Fitness tests to ensure software quality.
• Designs and implement Rest APIs and GRPC for seamless integration and communication.
• Leads cloud initiatives, leveraging GKP and other cloud technologies for scalable solutions.
• Manages both NoSQL and SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develops and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals.
• Contributes to strategic programs while managing BAU legacy platforms.
• Leads and mentors teams across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
