Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Provide end-to-end support for SAP SD modules including incident management, service requests, and
problem tickets in compliance with SLA / KPI targets.
Perform root cause analysis and deliver permanent solutions for recurring issues.Handle day-to-day operations related to Sales Order Management, Delivery Processing, Transportation, and Billing / Invoicing.Manage Output Determination and Output Management via EDI, File Transfer, Mail, and PDF forms using Scripts and Smart Forms.Perform IDoc monitoring, processing, error handling, and mapping to ensure seamless data transfer between systems.Manage and monitor batch jobs, analyze job errors, and coordinate resolutions with relevant technical teams.Configure and troubleshoot Pricing procedures, Credit Management, Availability Check, and Revenue Recognition.Support Returns, Credit / Debit Memo, Free of Charge Delivery, Intercompany Billing, and STO processes.Provide configuration and master data maintenance for business requirements within SD.Collaborate closely with cross-functional modules such as MM, FICO, PP, CS, APO, and GTS for integrated process support.Leverage ABAP debugging skills for issue identification and technical handholding.Utilize LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) for data migration and master data updates.Maintain and enhance S / 4HANA Sales functionalities; support special business processes such as Third Party Sales, Consignments, and Returns.Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with developers for enhancements and custom developments.Act as a mentor and guide for junior consultants, ensuring knowledge sharing and process adherence.Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, providing status updates and technical clarifications.Required Skills & Expertise :
Strong domain knowledge in Sales & Distribution processes and best practices.Hands-on experience with :
1. Sales Order, Delivery, Shipment, Picking, Packing, WM Interface
2. Transportation and Billing processes
3. Pricing Configuration and Error Analysis
4. IDoc and Output Management
5. Credit Management, Revenue Recognition, Availability Check
Good understanding of SAP S / 4HANA Sales processes.Proficiency in LSMW, Job Monitoring, and Process Chain Analysis.Basic ABAP Debugging and technical understanding for troubleshooting.Cross-module integration knowledge (MM, FICO, CS, PP, APO, GTS).Desired Skills & Certifications :
SAP Certification in Sales & Distribution or S / 4HANA.ITIL Certification (preferred for support and incident management roles).Strong consulting, analytical, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, client handling, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver under pressure.(ref : hirist.tech)
