JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is a collaborative position working closely with frontend teams, DevOps, product management, and healthcare domain experts. You should be innovative and always looking for new technologies and architectural patterns to improve system performance, scalability, and data security in complex  real-world healthcare data ecosystems.

SKILLS

System Architecture & Design : Design and implement scalable microservice architectures using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud to support healthcare data processing requirements.

API Development & Integration : Build robust REST APIs and implement gRPC services for high-performance inter-service communication. Design and maintain API gateways for secure external integrations.

Security & Data Privacy : Implement OAuth2 / OpenID Connect authentication and JWT token management. Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations and implement data protection strategies.

Event-Driven Architecture : Design and implement event-driven systems for real-time healthcare data processing and inter-service communication patterns.

Database Management : Optimize database performance using JPA / Hibernate with PostgreSQL and MySQL. Implement effective caching strategies and manage complex healthcare data relationships.

Service Mesh & Infrastructure : Deploy and manage services using Docker containers with service mesh technologies (Istio / Linkerd) for enhanced observability and security.

Big Data & AI Integration : Collaborate on big data processing pipelines and integrate AI / ML capabilities for healthcare analytics and insights generation.

Collaboration & Mentoring : Work closely with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers on best practices and architectural decisions.

Documentation & Quality : Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, implement monitoring solutions, and ensure high code quality through testing and continuous integration practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Soft Skills

The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills as this role involves collaboration across multiple teams including healthcare professionals, data scientists, and product stakeholders. They should exhibit attention to detail when working with sensitive healthcare data and provide clear technical documentation. The role requires analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work in fast-paced environments. Candidates should be comfortable questioning existing architectures and proposing improvements while maintaining system reliability.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.

Experience : Minimum 3 years
