Job Title : Fabric Platform Data Architect
At our organization, we are expanding our data practice to implement Microsoft Fabric for a US health insurer. This project requires a skilled professional who can design the platform foundation, establish governance guardrails, and ensure the environment is secure, compliant, cost-efficient, and usable.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Design and configure fabric tenants, domains, capacity groups, and workspaces
- Establish RBAC models, security groups, RLS patterns, budgeting guardrails, and naming / tags
- Stand up Purview collections and implement glossary governance, scanner rules, and sensitivity labels
- Map HIPAA / PHI controls and integrate with Entra, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud
- Enable audit logs and drive periodic access reviews
- Right-size capacity, monitor usage, forecast spend, and set budgets / alerts
As a Fabric Platform Data Architect, you will be working remotely with a flexible work culture and international exposure. You will have the opportunity to work on mission-critical healthcare projects impacting providers and patients globally.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Microsoft Fabric administration (tenancy, domains, capacities, workspaces, OneLake)Microsoft Purview (catalogue, glossary, scans, policies, lineage)Azure IAM / ENRA ID (RBAC, conditional access), RLS patternsCost management and FinOps awareness (capacity planning, budgets, alerts)
