Role Description
We operate multiple mid-premium and QSR-format pizza brands through 206+ cloud kitchens across 45+ cities. The ideal candidate will spearhead the end-to-end Learning & Development ecosystem and drive operational excellence across all pizza brands.
This role requires building scalable training systems, ensuring consistent product quality, enhancing kitchen capability, and strengthening operational discipline across India. It blends strategic thinking with strong on-ground execution and influence management.
Responsibilities
1.
Training Strategy & Curriculum Leadership
Build, own, and continuously improve the complete L&D curriculum for all pizza brands (kitchen operations, prep, hygiene, dispatch, inventory control, and service SOPs).
Develop brand-wise training modules covering dough handling, topping discipline, oven operations, dispatch accuracy, hygiene & sanitation, FIFO and storage norms.
Create digital learning assets including video SOPs, LMS content, assessments, and structured career progression pathways.
2. On-Ground Capability Building
Drive and monitor training cadence executed through Area Managers and City Operations teams.
Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs to strengthen internal training capability.
Assess skill levels across kitchens and implement targeted interventions to close competency gaps.
3. Performance Metrics, Audits & Compliance
Define and track KPIs such as new hire ramp-up time, audit scores, speed improvements, compliance adherence, and complaint reduction.
Build dashboards with the Ops Excellence team to monitor training effectiveness, consistency, and operational standards.
4. New Kitchen Launches & Brand Expansions
Lead the training function for all new city launches and brand expansions.
Ensure kitchens achieve Day 1 readiness with standardised quality, hygiene, and operational protocols.
Pre-Requisites
Minimum 5 years of experience in Training, Operations Excellence, or multi-unit kitchen operations within QSR, cloud kitchens, or casual dining.
Strong expertise in designing training systems, SOPs, audits, and performance measurement frameworks.
Proven ability to manage, mentor, and influence distributed teams across multiple cities.
Strong operational discipline with deep understanding of quality, hygiene, and compliance standards.
Data-driven approach with the ability to track, analyse, and act on performance KPIs.
Excellent communication, training facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
High ownership mindset with a process-driven, hands-on execution style.
