Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Book Compositor for Dehradun location / Remote. The Book Compositor will be responsible for typesetting, formatting, and preparing layouts for print and digital publications.

The role involves maintaining design consistency, ensuring high-quality output, and collaborating with designers, editors, and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to predefined style guides are essential for this position.

Qualifications & Skill Set

Proficiency in typesetting, formatting, and layout design tools, such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar software

Strong understanding of typography, color schemes, and page composition principles

Attention to detail and ability to adhere to templates, style guides, and project specifications

Basic knowledge of book design standards and guidelines for both print and digital formats

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment

Prior experience in publication design or book composition is preferred

A degree or certification in Graphic Design, Publishing, or a related field is advantageous
