Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient BASE24 EPS Technical Consultant with 6+ years of experience in switch systems, specifically BASE24-eps.

This is a long-term contract role based in India, requiring deep technical expertise in configuration, development, and integration within the payments domain.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing, testing, and deploying robust software solutions, configuring schemes, and integrating BASE24-eps with various host systems and security Responsibilities :

Development and Configuration :

• Develop, test, and deploy fit-for-purpose software solutions, including CSMs (Custom Service Modules) on BASE24-eps.
• Configure the BASE24 EPS modules precisely according to business requirements.
• Prepare and execute necessary migration scripts for system updates and and Scheme Management :
• Configure interchange specifications for major card schemes, including VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and JCB.
• Manage and implement periodical mandates and updates from card schemes, ensuring compliance and successful testing.
• Customize and configure scheme interfaces, including thorough testing and issue and System Integration :
• Configure, test, and integrate BASE24 EPS with HSMs (Hardware Security Modules).
• Configure various security keys for interchanges, terminals, cards, and PVKs (Personal Verification Keys).
• Configure and test various host systems and ensure seamless integration of BASE24 with other bank and Reporting :
• Configure various terminals, ATMs, and interfaces connected to the payment switch.
• Generate required MIS / reports as per business :
• Experience : 6+ years of professional experience in payment switch systems, with 5+ years focused on BASE24-eps.
• BASE24 Expertise : Demonstratable experience in BASE24-eps configuration, scripting, and use of the SDK (Software Development Kit).
• Programming Skills : Strong experience in programming languages, specifically C++ and Java.
• Protocols & Formats : Strong experience with ISO 8583 and XML specifications.
• Scheme Knowledge : Experience and understanding of interfacing with card schemes and their specific formats. Knowledge / experience in implementation and certifications of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex, and JCB.
• Platform Experience : Experience with operating systems and virtualization, specifically Linux and VMware.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills, including hands-on use of Test Simulators.
• Compliance : Experience / understanding of Australian and scheme compliance requirements is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills : Strong time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a proven ability to innovate and Skills :
• Experience working on cloud systems (Azure, AWS).
