The role holder drives and supports the execution of the overall strategic transformation agenda for CIB Operations and International Markets. Collaborates closely with other senior business and functional leaders to build and drive the CIB Ops -wide transformation through the execution of Business Analysis activities.
The Head of Analysis & Design role ensures close collaboration with Product Owners, Programme Managers, Test teams and Operations teams as well as Process Excellence teams to deliver agreed programme outcomes and solutions. The role requires driving holistic change by coaching and empowering people through multiple levers including solution analysis & design, process excellence, structural changes, digitisation, streamlining, targets and tracking, training and accountability.

Accountable and responsible for production of high quality analysis & design outputs working closely with the Business teams, Change & Transformation team, Operations teams & International Markets teams.
Accountable for ensuring sufficient resourcing levels to aow the smooth throughput of work.
Responsible for mentoring talent pool as it relates to Analysis & Design and developing future talent.
Contribute to execution & formulation of process delivery CIB Ops strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic CIB business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Contribute to the strategic operations direction and roadmap for Change & Transformation, align with Business Strategy and agreed delivery in line with CP. This should drive Ops efficiency and headcount reduction as well as reduced Operational risk.
Drive Operations Strategy to streamline processes, enhance productivity, reduce risk, improve controls, leveraging technologies
Deliver a robust control environment which mitigates the risk of loss and safeguards the Banks assets
Analysis & Solution design
Oversee and be accountable for all analysis & design activities and deliver high quality outputs through tracking KPI's
Risk Management
Ensure that proposed solutions don't compromise existing risks and controls and where required strengthen them.
Engage process and risk control owners to ensure solutions are holistic and complete.
Governance
Oversee Analysis & Design portfolio of initiatives with accountability for delivering agreed outcomes for CIB OPs & International Markets.
Guide teams in becoming self-sustaining and develop wider resourcing strategy.
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Undertake other tasks and activities as requested by the Head, Transformation & Change, CIB Operations & International Markets.

Qualifications
Academic or Professional Education / Qualifications; University educated
Licenses and Certifications / accreditations; nonadditional
Professional Memberships; relevant memberships to be agreed
Languages; English
Academic or Professional Education / Qualifications - relevant degree
Minimum 15 - 20 years of professional experience as a C-suite executive
Strong background in leading and managing a global workforce transformation and programme management within international firm / organisation
Stays current in knowledge with a focus on the future of technology
Self-motivated leader with a growth mindset
Advanced level communicator, with ability to influence and manage stakeholders from various seniority and backgrounds, preferably with international exposure
Highly innovative and current in application of human centred design principles
Leads on 'agile' as a way of working and proven experience transforming tech organisations to agile
Governance, Oversight and Controls : - the ability to assess the effectiveness of the firm's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
International exposure, ability to handle cultural diversity and developing high performers are essential to this role.
