Job descriptionSenior level Redhat Linux System Administrator role (12 years+ experience) that performs triage of business impacted incidents, restores incidents to meet service level agreement. Duties include 9x5 incident (weekday / weekend) support, triage LEAPP upgrade failures, rollback of LEAPP upgrade. root cause analysis, and escalation of critical issues, execution of scheduled activities. Our environment is a large complex enterprise environment with high performance servers for trading applications. Clustering technologies for Redhat Cluster / Pacemaker, DB2, IBM GPFS and terabyte size platform. Our clients are ranging from infrastructure support, security compliance, legal regulatory, Market trading and Global Payment, Online Banking and Global Private Clients.
Must Have-
- 10+ years of Hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Linux (6 / 7 / 8 / 9)
- Experience on supporting HP, Dell x86 hardware platform.
- Experience on supporting LEAPP in-place upgrade
- Strong experience in Redhat Linux System Administration, Hardware troubleshooting, configuration, and performance monitoring and tuning.
- Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with different technology partners.
- Good communication skills - audience centric and adjustment to different audience levels
- Understand SAN / NAS technology and experience to support server-side related issue.
Understand TCP / IP and ability to troubleshoot latency or performance issue.
