Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic Mutual Funds Trainer to design and deliver cutting-edge training programs that drive distributor, partner, and sales team success.
This role goes beyond classroom delivery - it integrates strategic coaching, performance analytics, technology adoption, and knowledge management to empower financial intermediaries and ensure sustainable business growth.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning culture, enabling frontline sales excellence, and aligning teams with evolving industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Training & Coaching :
- Deliver advanced training modules on mutual funds, wealth management solutions, and consultative selling approaches.
- Build customized learning interventions based on performance diagnostics and business goals.
- Collaborate with product and compliance teams to design interactive content, simulations, and case studies that drive practical adoption.
- Establish standardized best practices, scalable learning models, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
Research & Knowledge Management :
Develop a comprehensive knowledge repository covering investment products, regulations, and advisory practices.Translate complex market, economic, and regulatory insights into digestible training materials for frontline application.Lead content curation and dissemination strategies using digital platforms, ensuring learning accessibility across teams and partners.Tech-Driven Sales Enablement :
Drive adoption of CRM platforms, AI-enabled analytics, and digital sales tools to enhance distributor productivity.Train partners and sales teams to leverage data insights for client acquisition, retention, and cross-selling.Integrate gamification, e-learning platforms, and digital assessments into the training journey for better engagement.Performance Management :
Use data-driven insights and KPIs to evaluate distributor / RM performance.Develop personalized coaching blueprints that directly address performance gaps.Partner with leadership to align training outcomes with business growth metrics.Market Intelligence & Industry Trends :
Provide timely updates on SEBI regulations, AMFI guidelines, industry benchmarks, and competitor strategies.Enable the sales force to remain future-ready by embedding market intelligence into ongoing training programs.Candidate Profile :
Education & Background :
MBA / PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Financial Product Training.Technical & Functional Skills :
Strong expertise in Mutual Funds, SIPs, Portfolio Advisory, and Wealth Products.Familiarity with Insurance and Alternate Investments is a plus.Demonstrated use of CRM, LMS platforms, sales analytics tools, and digital enablement platforms.Skilled in instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and e-learning content development.Soft Skills :
Exceptional communication in English and Hindi (regional language proficiency is advantageous).High-impact presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.Strong analytical, consultative, and coaching mindset.Willingness to travel extensively for training and partner engagement(ref : iimjobs.com)
