Job description

Conduct field assessments of substations to evaluate infrastructure, efficiency, and compliance.

Perform ETAP-based power flow studies, load simulations, and voltage stability analysis for solar integration readiness.

Inspect key equipment and recommend maintenance strategies, automation upgrades, and reinforcement measures.

Explore interconnection feasibility with nearby substations.

Provide technical solutions for inverter tripping, power quality issues, and reverse power flow management.

Proficient in power system software for load and stability studies.

Prepare accurate technical reports, checklists, and upgrade recommendations.

Collaborate with DISCOM engineers, government officials, and stakeholders for knowledge transfer.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills for field work.

Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and teamwork for renewable energy integration goals.

Requirements

Qualifications : - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related field.

Minimum 5 years in Power System Studies, 3 years in ETAP software experience.
Experience with DISCOMs or government agencies on power projects, including donor-funded projects.
