Oracle Hyperion Test Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Job Description : Summary :

We are looking for Testing resource who has experience testing Oracle Hyperion application, with a very strong technical skill set in leading and executing end-to-end testing activities for Hyperion Essbase and Planning and creating Manual and Automation scripts as per client requirements.

This role will require experience and capability in test planning, execution, automation, and defect management, specifically for PBCS and Essbase modules, configuration, test script execution, Test data creation, performing proof of concept, building user training materials and supporting testing milestones.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Overall, 6-9 years of Experience in Testing of Oracle Hyperion testing for PBCS, Essbase modules.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Manual Testing
• Deep functional knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications, especially PBCS, Essbase.
• Experience in SmartView Retrieve and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with external teams or clients.
• Experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle Cloud Financials
• End to end implementation experience in EPM cloud / on Prem applications.
• Strong expertise in test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools and Dashboards.
• Teamwork skills, to support colleagues and share techniques.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality and metadata management
• Hand on experience in any of the Test management tool like Jira, Zephyr, Bugzilla, Rally
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member or independently and Mentor, guide, and review work of junior testers
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and the persistence to apply different techniques to get the job done."
