Job description

Job Title : Group Head Fabrication

Location : Pune

Division – Enviro

Experience – 12-15 yrs

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the end-to-end fabrication activities across multiple units.
Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.).
Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.
Plan manpower, machine loading, and material availability effectively.
Identify skill gaps and mentor the fabrication team for performance enhancement.
Maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.
Manage subcontracting activities and vendor performance, if applicable.

Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication (as relevant).

Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.

Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software / tools, and production planning systems.
